This is where it starts
I have been using Beachbody (now Bodi) for more than a couple of years but am scared off by the raised price and honestly the major changes they’ve made as a company. I’m afraid that committing to another year may leave me either stranded with a defunct company or a platform with limited options. So back to the drawing board to evaluate options. Initially I was discouraged as there did not seem to be a whole lot of options for what I was looking for. And many seemed to be high cost like Bodi. But then, after falling knee deep into the rabbit hole I am here. I have found a variety of options but can’t decide which will be best.
New years is around the corner. It’s a time to reflect, set goals and overall evaluate life. What better time is there to take a work out challenge? I’ve decided to try out multiple platforms and write a blurb on each. I’ll fully immerse myself in each by using their free trial. Then I’ll decide where my next journey lies.
The first thing I had to do what consider what I am looking for. What are the deal breakers, the non-negotiables. and, what do I not care about?
- variety - must offer a variety of programs
- series - I prefer to participate in a series. I don’t want to navigate thru 100 individual workouts to find today’s workout. I want to have a series that I check into everyday.
- music - I do not need fancy music. I don’t care much about what is playing. I am most concerned about hearing the instructor.
- platform structure - easy to find videos. It must not be too complicated or time consuming to choose the videos.
- cost - I want a reasonable cost involved.
Where to go from here? I am just going to dive right in. I will report off my likes and dislikes of each program. In the end I’ll choose my favorite
